Achievements & Awards
MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Honors College Scholar
I am very enthusiastic to be a member of the College Scholars Community, a small academic cohort within the UCLA Honors College. I meet with my community of twenty other classmates and two staff advisors several times each quarter to discuss strategies for succeeding in courses. I also communicate closely with my student peer group and mentor to navigate involvement beyond the classroom with more than 30,000 other undergraduates.
UCLA Alumni Mentor Program
After a year working with my fantastic mentor, Julia Lippe-Klein (she/they), the Program Manager at Southern California Association of Governments, I feel truly honored to have been nominated and selected as an Outstanding Mentee. Julia has had a tremendous impact in my life through our discussions of professional scenarios. More importantly, however, Julia has shown me what a strong, supportive leader looks like. Through her genuine kindness, Julia has shown me the type of work culture I need to thrive and how to be a better person in and beyond the workplace.
Dean's Honors List Student
I am proud to have made the Dean’s Honors List all eight quarters I have spent at the #1 Public University in the United States. This achievement reflects the significant effort I invested into adapting to remote learning, creating new organizing and study habits, and utilizing virtual office hours to interact with professors and teaching assistants.
